Are you looking for a unique Master Bath?

Something that will blow your friends' minds? Many times the bulk of the investment is on the surfaces like tile on walls/flooring and granite or quartz countertops. Some of the most popular items in master bathrooms are walk in showers, seating within the shower, and dual shower heads. There are lots of different tile designs to make your bathroom more special and your Interior Designer or Tile Installer can help you choose the right tile pattern. Other trendy items are nooks or niches, these are within the shower walls to hold shampoo, soap and other shower items. Hand held shower heads, rain shower heads can be found at your local plumbing showroom like Fergusons, M&L Supply, Keller Supply, or HajocaGrohe, Rohl, Brizo, Mirabelle, and Kohler are great resources for interesting fixture choices.

Quality materials can enhance any master bath. The use of natural stone, glass and other luxury materials can make the space seem more like a spa. There is even an option to put the TV within the vanity mirror allowing you to relax while watching your favorite programing. Alternatively one could be framed mirrors instead.

Clear glass shower doors are also very popular or walk in showers without doors leaving the space to feel more open.
Items outside of the shower that will make your bathroom stand out are radiant heated floors. These floors are usually set over tile and allow you to set the temperature. It feels wonderful on your feet after a hot shower.

Heated towel holders are also popular, there's nothing more relaxing then wrapping yourself up in a warm fluffy towel.

Lighting and large windows are also a great feature in a master bathroom. Lighting design and decorative fixtures are more beautiful then ever. Ferguson's in Spokane has a great assortment of lighting selections.

WSFCA changes name to Flooring Association Northwest

The Washington State Floor Covering Association has changed its name to Flooring Association Northwest. The association is changing its name for several reasons: it serves members outside Washington State, the association wants to put the emphasis on flooring, and the former acronym was often confused with the World Floor Covering Association.

The new name comes with a new mission—to raise the floor on standards, relationships and profitability—as well as a renewed commitment to all flooring professionals.
