TO ENTER the sweepstakes, you must complete the online entry form found at www.flooringamerica.com/contest ,

www.flooringcanada.ca/contest or affiliated local store website. By providing your email address as entry into this

 

 

sweepstakes, you are agreeing to receive emails from your local Flooring America/Flooring Canada store with

information about flooring and promotions they may have. At anytime you can unsubscribe from any of these emails

by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.

 

SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES & ODDS OF WINNING: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be given a trip for 4 to their

 

 

choice of one of four tropical destinations. Winner may choose a vacation package from either Catalonia Riviera

Maya Resort in Riviera Maya, Cancun, Mexico, Hilton Rose Hall Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Melia Nassau

Beach Resort in Nassau, Bahamas or Catalonia Bavaro Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Trip includes

three nights ocean-view accommodations, roundtrip economy airfare for four, roundtrip transportation between the

airport and resort, unlimited dining in the resort, including room service, unlimited beverages by the glass in the

resort, including premium wines and alcohol, complimentary non-motorized watersports activities such as Hobie Cats,

paddleboats, and boogie boards and customized travel planning assistance by a professional Travel Concierge.

Flooring America/ Flooring Canada will advise the winner of their Travel Concierge to select and book the trip. Trip is

estimated at $5,000 but actual retail vary will vary depending on dates chosen, destination and departure city. Any

costs over $5,000 will not be paid by Flooring America and will be the responsibility of the winner. If trip cost is less

than $5,000, winner may not receive cash to make up the difference. There are no blackout periods however; certain

dates have higher rates, so if the winner chooses a time period in which costs exceed $5,000 the winner is

responsible to pay any cost above $5,000. All dollar amounts are in US dollars. The trip must be taken between

October 15, 2014 and August 1, 2015. Odds of winning are dependant upon the number of eligible entries received.

Grand Prize winner may not substitute cash in lieu of taking the prize. The sweepstakes runs from April 28, 2014-

October 1, 2014 and all entries must be received during this time period. Limit one (1) entry per person/authorized email

account holder. The use of automated devices to enter this Sweepstakes is prohibited. Sponsor is not

responsible for entries that are lost, damaged, misdirected, altered, illegible or late in arriving. Sponsor is not

responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software, or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures,

or delays in computer transmissions or network connections, whether human or technical in nature. Sponsor

reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should causes beyond the control of

the Sponsor corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of game. In the event of a dispute regarding the

identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose

name the e-mail account is registered. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine

the legitimate operations of the sweepstakes is a violation of the criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt

be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by

law. Grand Prize winner will be chosen on or about October 10, 2014 at the offices of Flooring America 670 North

Commercial Street, Manchester NH 03101. Winner(s) will be notified by October 15, 2014 via email notification. Any

prize winner who does not respond within 24 hours shall forfeit the prize and a drawing for an alternate winner will

take place. For Canadian residents only: to claim a prize, Canadian residents must first correctly answer, without

assistance of any kind, a mathematical skill-testing question at a mutually agreed upon time. The question must be

answered correctly within a pre-determined amount of time. In the event that it is not answered correctly, the

selected person will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected. Prize winners will be required to execute an

Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability & Publicity Release, which must be completed and returned within 7 days of

notification (if not returned, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate). Prizes not transferable,

assignable or redeemable for cash. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes (excluding sales tax) are the

responsibility of the winners. Winners who are U.S. residents must provide tax id information and other information

sufficient for Sponsor to issue a 1099 form, if applicable. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s

name, likeness, and photo for publicity purposes without additional compensation. Employees or family members of

employees of Flooring America and its affiliates are not eligible to enter. Must be 18 years of age to enter. Void

where prohibited. All Federal, State, provincial and local laws apply. By entering the sweepstakes, participant

agrees to be bound by these official rules. By accepting prize, winner(s) agree that Sponsor, its’ employees, directors

and officers will be released and held harmless from any losses, costs or injuries of any kind or related in any way to

the use, misuse of the prize awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute alternate prize of equal or greater

value in the event of prize unavailability. Sponsor shall have no liability and shall be released and held harmless by

winner(s) for any damage, loss, or liability to person or property, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, by reason

of acceptance, possession, use, misuse of prize or participation in the sweepstakes. Any and all disputes, claims and

causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved

individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration. Any and all claims, judgments,

Spring In Spokane

Spring has sprung in Spokane, WA and it's time to start thinking about spring cleaning, spring flowers, and springing up your home. Here are some great tips on where to start your spring cleaning.

Spokane's Spring Cleaning Checklist

1. Shampooing carpets or updating to new carpet/tile/hardwood/luxury vinyl tile.

2. Organize closets (store winter clothes and pull out summer clothes).

3. Vacuum under couches, beds, and furniture. Move it out of its natural space and you may be surprised what you find, especially if you have kids.

4. Wash windows inside and out. Check to see if your blinds need dusting or a professional ultrasonic cleaning. This may also be a time to consider new Hunter Douglas Blinds because of the Spring rebates available now.

5.  Reseal grout in bathrooms and kitchens and or touch up the color with sealants found at your local hardware store or Northwest Trends Flooring America in Spokane Valley located between Pines & Argonne on Montgomery.

6.  Put a fresh coat of granite sealer/cleaner if you have granite countertops. This will help protect the granite keeping it looking newer longer. The application takes about 15 minutes and is easy to do. This product can be found at Northwest Trends Flooring America in Spokane Valley located between Pines & Argonne on Montgomery.

7. Outside your home check lighting fixtures, garage doors, window wells and other spaces that may have collected dust, cobwebs, and debris over the winter.

8. Rake up any leaves and look into hiring a lawn service to come thatcher your lawn to help it get rid of old grass and allow for new growth.

9. Time to start getting the garden in order. Make sure your garden is mulched and ready for planting. This will probably happen the first or second week of May depending on the weather in Spokane.

10. Last but not least if you are really ready to tackle a larger project your could always brighten up your home with some fresh paint. Start small with a bedroom, bathroom or kitchen,  I know its a lot of work but the whole family will be happy when spring cleaning is over and they get to sew the fruits of their labor.

Remember you won't be able to accomplish this in one weekend, so break it up over a few weekends. Share chores with the husband and kids, make it an annual family event. Today might be a great day to get started because its April 1, 2014 -  #April Fools day (except we are not fooling around).

Clear glass shower doors are also very popular or walk in showers without doors leaving the space to feel more open.

Items outside of the shower that will make your bathroom stand out are radiant heated floors. These floors are usually set over tile and allow you to set the temperature. It feels wonderful on your feet after a hot shower.

Heated towel holders are also popular, there's nothing more relaxing then wrapping yourself up in a warm fluffy towel.
